In this privacy notice, we would like to explain purposes for which we use your personal data collected through cookies and the communication tab in our website if you contact BGO Engineering via our Website, and how you can control the cookies we use. 

As BGO Engineering, we can stop using the cookies on our website, change their types or functions, or add new cookies to our site. 1. Collection Method of Your Personal Data and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected electronically and automatically, during your visit to our website, with your consent, for Company’s legitimate interests, for the purpose of fulfilling the legal obligations of the data controller and for the purpose of electronic commercial communication; by e-mail you send to us via the e-mail address on the Website, or during audio/video calls with our call centers/sales representatives, and by means of cookies, which are technical communication files due to your visit to the Website.

 

2. Your Processed Personal Data and the Purposes of Processing 

Your identity and contact information and other personal data including but not limited to the data you share with us during your communication with the Company, are processed for the purposes of following up your questions and answers regarding our products/services, meeting your requests regarding our products/services, sending commercial messages to you regarding products and services, developing the Website, sending important updates regarding changes in the website and its conditions, protecting your or third parties' rights, safety, property and operations, and for our Company to exercise its right of defense when necessary, or responding to requests or communication issues from official authorities. 


3. Your Processed Personal Data

Name, last name, information about your computer including, IP address, geographic location, browser type, and version, and operating system; information about your visit and use of the website, including reference source, duration of visit, page views and site navigation, any communication content you send via e-mail; all other personal information you send us and your phone number are processed by the Company.


4. The Parties to which Your Personal Data is Transferred and the Purpose of the Transfer

Your personal data can be transferred only to the extent they are relevant, in line with the purposes specified in the section titled "Purposes of Processing of Your Personal Data" of this Privacy Notice, by taking necessary technical measures within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, to (i) the third parties from which support is received in fields such as retention, archiving, hosting (server, hosting, program, cloud computing) in order to carry out information security processes, (ii) the customer contact center from which we receive service in order to provide communication management on a project basis, to our suppliers; (iii) the consultancy companies that we receive support in finance, law and similar fields in order to carry out activities in accordance with the legislation, and (iv) the authorized institutions and organizations to fulfill legal or regulatory obligations or requests.


5. What Are Your Rights as a Data Subject?

Data subject pursuant to Article 11 of the PDPL, have the rights; 

  • to find out whether personal data is being processed or not, 
  • to request information if personal data are processed,
  • to find out the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the intended purpose,
  • to know the third parties to which personal data is transferred in the country or abroad,
  • to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data and to request notification of the operations carried out within this scope to the third parties to which the personal data has been transferred,  
  • to request the erasure or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist despite the fact that it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the PDPL and other relevant provisions, and to request that the transaction carried out within this scope be notified to the third parties to which the personal data has been transferred, 
  • to object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means, of his personal data, which leads to an unfavorable consequence for the data subject,
  • to request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of the personal data.
